Join SEPA Online to learn conversation skills in
Spanish through culture!

WHAT IS SEPA ONLINE?

SEPA Online is a program that provides an opportunity for students in Kindergarten to 5th grade to build a foundation in the Spanish language and an understanding of cultural diversity.

Classes begin in September  2021

How is a regular class at SEPA online?

Students are accompanied by a "travel guide" in each class as they learn about different Latin American countries. Explore the wonder of language and culture with our amazing friends: Faustina, El Mariachi, El CĂłndor, Ekeko, El Coki!

HOW IT WORKS?

Online classes are geared to the appropriate placement of our students based on their Spanish language abilities and goals. Students are evaluated at the beginning and end of each semester with an interview. The interview provides a functional perspective on the student's Spanish language abilities and helps identify areas of focus. With small class sizes, our instructors tailor their interactions and lessons to the levels of each student.

Levels

INTRO

Students can have fun, interactive experience as first exposure to the Spanish language. The content for each unit is based on an authentic story, myth or legend from the Spanish-speaking culture.

BASIC

These students can recognize general words and expressions related to themselves or their families; they have a minimal understanding but may not speak it.

INTERMEDIATE

Maintain and close simple conversations on familiar or personal interest topics. Can repeat back part of what someone has said to confirm mutual understanding. Describe, able to start a basic conversation.

ADVANCE

Students can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly.
